YP flying group have been flying from Blackpool airport for almost 30 years, and fly a Cessna 172P and a Robin DR 400 Cadet.
The group have a total of 19 members, and are highly regarded as a professional and well organized flying group.
This is a far cry from the early days when Messrs Burgess, Porter, Pernell and Dunn formed the group back in 1981.
The groups current members come from all different walks of life. From the motor trade to the medical profession, from the IT industry to a flying instructor who had his first solo in "India November" when she used to work in the South of France, all with one common aim:
